Mutual Fire Insurance is proud to work with our broker partners. As part of our commitment to community initiatives, we grant awards each year to the top performing brokers in two categories: Broker of Year for British Columbia and Broker of Year for the Prairies. We gift each winner a $2,500 donation to their charity of choice.

Congratulations to our 2019 winning broker partners!

BROKER OF YEAR FOR BRITISH COLUMBIA

Hatton Insurance Agency won 2019 Broker of Year for British ColumbiaThe team selected Cowichan District Hospital Foundation as the recipient of their award.

The current hospital facilities for the Cowichan Valley opened in 1967. In the decades since opening, the area population has grown significantly and demand for healthcare with it. In 2015, the Cowichan Valley Regional Hospital District (CVRHD) identified, purchased, and rezoned a site for the new hospital to properly accommodate current and future healthcare needs. Illustrating the community’s commitment to a new hospital, the Foundation allocated 100% of its 2015 annual appeal campaign funds to the new hospital fund in addition to contributing 20% of their annual funds each year.
