Mutual Fire Insurance awarded three top performing 2024 broker partners with a $5,000 donation to a charity of their choice.

Broker of the Year for British Columbia

The 2024 Broker of the Year award for British Columbia was given to Wilson M Beck Insurance Services.

$5,000 was donated to WMB’s charity of choice: the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society. The organization operates without recurring government funding, relying solely on donations from the public, industry partners, and grants. Each month, they provide nutritious food to approximately 15,000 individuals and families, as well as to 150 community agency partners across Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and the North Shore.

Broker of the Year for the Prairies

One Insurance Group Ltd. with Broker of the Year – Prairies for 2024. They have selected the Steinbach Community Foundation as their charity of choice, an incredible organization supporting stronger communities by funding local projects that address social services, health and well-being, heritage, sport and recreation, arts and culture, child welfare and family well-being, educational and environmental needs, and other priorities in the Southeast Manitoba area.

Managing General Agent of the Year

We presented Agile Underwriting Solutions with the Managing General Agent of Year award for 2024.

Agile’s $5,000 charitable donation was awarded to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) as their charity of choice with the donation going to support vital advocacy, programs, and resources to help prevent mental health issues, support recovery and resilience, and empower Canadians to flourish. Each year, CMHA serves over 1.3 million Canadians through the efforts of more than 5,000 staff members and 11,000 volunteers.
