Online Materials; Permitted Uses.  This website and all information and materials contained herein (collectively, the “Online Materials”) are the intellectual property of The Mutual Fire Insurance Company of British Columbia (“Mutual Fire Insurance”) and its licensors, and all rights are expressly reserved.  Mutual Fire Insurance is providing the Online Materials for promotional purposes, and the Online Materials are not an insurance policy or an offer of insurance.  You only have the right to view and to download and make a hard copy of the Online Materials for personal use.  Any republication of the Online Materials, and any use, reproduction or copying of the Online Materials for commercial purposes, without the express written permission of Mutual Fire Insurance, is strictly prohibited.

Changes; Interpretation.  Mutual Fire Insurance reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time without notice to you, but will ensure that the latest, fully-amended version of this Agreement is published on the website.  Headings in this Agreement are used for convenience only and are not to be used as an interpretation guide for this Agreement.  You acknowledge that your use of the Online Materials as permitted hereby is good and sufficient consideration for the rights, covenants, disclaimers and premises set out herein.

Jurisdiction.  The Online Materials are maintained by Mutual Fire Insurance from its head office in British Columbia, Canada, and will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.  If you choose to access the Online Materials from outside Canada, you do so of your own initiative, and are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable local, national and international laws.  Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with the Online Materials will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia, and you irrevocably submit and attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia to finally adjudicate and determine any action or proceeding arising our of or in connection with the Online Materials.  By virtue of maintaining this passive website, Mutual Fire Insurance shall not be construed to be doing or transacting business or to otherwise being subject to the jurisdiction of any governmental authority in which you, or this or any linked site server or Internet provider is resident, domiciled or located.  If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any provision of this Agreement shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Mutual Fire Insurance with respect to use of the Online Materials.
