Lorsqu'il était jeune garçon et qu'il aidait à la ferme familiale, Mike Bose a entendu parler à maintes reprises de la " Mutual Fire Insurance ". Depuis 1892, la famille Bose exploite une ferme à Surrey, en Colombie-Britannique, et au cours des quatre dernières générations, un membre de la famille Bose a siégé au conseil d'administration de la Mutuelle d'assurance-incendie, où il a prodigué des conseils passionnés. Mike est fier de poursuivre la tradition familiale autour de la table et apporte une perspective historique unique au conseil d'administration, soulignée par son leadership et son engagement enthousiastes. Poursuivant le commerce familial, Mike et sa famille élèvent des dindes et des produits agricoles qu'ils vendent à la fois dans le commerce et sur les marchés de producteurs de la vallée du Fraser. John Kartechner est président de JWK ENT II HOLDINGS LTD. John a acquis de l'expérience auprès de diverses sociétés d'assurance mutuelle lorsqu'il était réassureur et intermédiaire en réassurance. Pendant son temps libre, John aime jouer au golf et au tennis.

Amyn is a second-generation farmer and has spent the last 22 years working in the poultry and agriculture sectors. A graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Business School, he worked as a Commercial Account Manager with HSBC before joining the family business—overseeing the farm and egg grading operation in the Okanagan and South Thompson areas. Amyn has been involved in many different areas of the egg industry’s production and grading sectors, as President and Director of both the BC Interior Egg Producers Association and the BC Egg Processors Council, and on various industry committees. He has served as director on the BC Egg Marketing Board and is currently serving as a board director for Golden Valley Foods. In his spare time, Amyn enjoys hiking on local trails, volunteering in the community, and spending time with his family.

Paul Curtis began his career with the RCMP before joining ICBC in 1990, working in claims and the Special Investigation Unit. He has since spent more than 30 years as an independent adjuster, handling files across Canada with a strong focus on agricultural claims, many through Mutual Fire Insurance. Paul and his wife Anna Marie live on a small hobby farm, selling rhubarb and eggs from their property. He has served on church and camp boards for over 37 years and is currently a director with the Camp Luther Association.e community, and spending time with his family.

Steve Czeck travaille dans le secteur des technologies de l'information depuis plus de trente ans et apporte au conseil d'administration de Mutual Fire Insurance des connaissances inestimables en matière de technologies de l'information. Après avoir travaillé pour diverses entreprises et institutions financières, Steve et sa femme Jennine ont développé une entreprise informatique prospère, Empyrion Technologies Inc. Steve a participé activement au conseil d'administration de son église et est heureux de siéger au conseil d'administration de sa compagnie d'assurance, Mutual Fire Insurance. Lorsqu'il n'est pas autour d'une table du conseil d'administration, Steve aime faire du vélo sur route, pêcher, faire de la randonnée, voyager et passer du temps avec sa famille.

Kevin Gull began his insurance career in 1985, working as a broker, brokerage owner, consultant, and insurance manager. He holds a BCIT diploma in Administrative Management and has been a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker since 1989. With extensive experience across personal, auto, and commercial lines, particularly in agriculture and resource sectors, Kevin has partnered closely with Mutual Fire Insurance throughout his career. Retired from brokering at the end of 2024, he remains committed to contributing to the industry. Kevin enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife Jacquie, their children, and grandchildren.

With more than 30 years of experience in marketing, operations, and technology, Cobi Ellis is able to quickly connect the dots to help in filling the leads funnel through research and analysis. He is currently President of Airo Consulting, specializing in helping companies review their customer experience, provide next steps in marketing strategy, and educate the team for sustained growth. He leverages technology to improve operational efficiency and has demonstrated expertise in CRM management, brand strategy, social media marketing, and data analysis.
Cobi’s Board experience includes director terms with Living Waters Church, Word in Action Church, Highroad Academy Christian School, and Adonia Musical Camps Association.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Trinity Western University and a Network Administration certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Off the clock, Cobi likes to hike Mount Baker in Washington State and play Board games with his wife and three daughters.

David Lestock-Kay and his wife Joan run their family’s 107-year-old farm in Mill Bay. They carry on a legacy of hard work and dedication to agriculture. For 17 years, they operated a dairy farm, transitioning to certified organic in the last ten years. These days, they focus on raising dairy heifers and growing forage crops.
Over the years, David has been involved with several farm organizations including Cowichan Agricultural Society, Island Milk Producers Association, Island Farmers Alliance, and Island Forage Council. His work with these boards varied from treasurer to director to chair, and the experiences honed his ability to relate to people and find common ground. He currently serves as Chair of the Mill Bay Fire Improvement District where he has introduced strategic planning to prepare for community growth and is championing the implementation of Superior Tanker Shuttle Service. Through this work, he found a passion for the relationship between climate change, community infrastructure, and understanding their effects on insurance rates.
He values community, sustainability, and the enduring importance of family farming. He is an avid fisherman, enjoys mountain biking, and exploring the abundant outdoor experiences of Vancouver Island with family and friends.
